The Office is one of Allan's favorite comedy shows.

The Office was originally created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, and made its first television debut on 9 July, 2001. In 2004, France created their own version entitled Le Bureau, and Brazil also took the origional idea and made Os Aspones in the same year. It wasn't until March 24, 2005 when the USA decided they'd not only take the idea, but the name of the show as well.

The American adaptation of The Office stars Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, and Rainn Wilson, and has won several awards including the Writers Guild Award, and the Outstanding Comedy Award of 2006.
